The Filling Station BBQ Restaurant is a uniquely nostalgic family-oriented and owned business located in historic downtown Lee's Summit Missouri. The building itself opened as a Texaco gas station in the 1930's . In 1999 the gas station was renovated into a BBQ restaurant which included an onsite Southern Pride Smoker.

All meats are smoked fresh daily on site. Sides are homemade. Takeout, Delivery, and Catering services available!

We had a lovely, early family dinner here on a Friday. The BBQ was delicious, they had affordable kids meals, and we loved sitting outside. The service was great, too!

This place was SO good I had to come back twice while on vacation! My family and I tried several BBQ places around KC and this was our favorite place, hands down. The smoked wings were amazing as was the burnt tips and brisket. The coleslaw was so good as well and they have Barqs Red Cream Soda which is a rare find! I will absolutely come back to The Filling Station anytime I come to KC. I also appreciate the kid-friendly and fun atmosphere with games and a kids box to play with. The service was excellent and they were on top of things making sure our drinks were full and we had all we needed.
